Sidhant Kumar

Sidhant is a Research Assistant at People’s Resource Centre. Before joining the PRC, he worked with the American University, Washington DC, U.S. and the Indian Political Action Committee. His writings have appeared in The Citizen, Tehelka, IMPRI and Karvaan India. At PRC, he has published reports including Policy Outreach on Urban Agriculture in Delhi and Status of Urban Local Governance in India: With a Case Study of Delhi. His ongoing projects include policy outreach on urban agriculture with the MCD, the Gotakhor documentary, and fund-raising.

Kislay Rai Pradhan

Kislay is a People’s Resource Centre Research Assistant. He has completed his Masters in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University Delhi. Previously, he has worked with CSDS and PARI. His ongoing projects and publications are regarding City-River Relationships, Urban Agriculture, as well as the question of Urban Livelihood and Marginality in the socio-ecological landscape. Along with research work he works on fundraising and project proposals for the PRC. He has research interests in the domain of urban sustainability with a core interest in urban planning and the relation of water & city.

Vibhuthi Bhardwaj

Vibhuthi is a Research Assistant with the People’s Resource Centre wheren she previously interned. Holding a postgraduate degree in Urban Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi, she brings experience from working with Praja, TRIP Centre of IIT Delhi and collaborative publications with scholars from IIPS, Mumbai. Currently, she is focusing on projects on urban agriculture, nursery and maalis. Her research interests include governance, sustainability and urban studies.

Research Interns

Aishani Puri

Aishani is a postgraduate with a Masters in Global Studies from Ambedkarn University, Delhi. She has a Bachelors degree in English (Hons.) from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She is inclined to pursue anthropology and sociology, and its interlinkages with ecology, environment, and climate change. She wrote her dissertation on the displacement, relocation and rehabilitation due to increasing hydrometeorological events in Uttarakhand.
Further, her professional orientation has also been in the socio-ecological sphere of work, particularly with the Nature Conservation Foundation and the Foundation of Ecological Security.

Prathyusha Naidu

Prathyusha holds a masters degree in Sociology from Dr B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi and a bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Delhi. She joined PRC as a research intern in 2024 and is currently working on projects that focus on Urban Agriculture, Livestock rearing and pastoralism in urban spaces. Her research interests lie in understanding social structures and intersectionality in urban areas. She has previously also
worked on ideas of media framing and conducted a sociological study of students’ mental health during the pandemic.

Anil Sethumadhavan

Anil Sethumadhavan, completed a masters in Development Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi. Previously, he worked as an intern at the Kerala Institute of Local Administration. He is interested in exploring issues around housing in urban areas, urban governance and higher education. He completed his master's dissertation on the topic, Accommodation deficiency among migrant students: A case study among Kerala Students at North Campus, Delhi University.
