Rajendra Ravi

He is the founding Director of Institute for Democracy and Sustainability and has been writing extensively on urbanisation, development processes and democracy for more than three decades. He is also the national convener of National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM) and co-convener, Sustainability Urban Mobility Network (SUMNet).

Madhuresh Kumar

He is a national convener of National Alliance of People’s Movements and has been engaged in campaigns and policy advocacy around issues such as communities’ control over land, water, forest and mineral resources, issues of displacement due to development, energy projects, industrial corridors; resource mobilisation etc.

Nishant Singh

Nishant grew up in a labor colony in the industrial city of Kanpur. After graduating from IIT Kanpur, he is now a doctoral scholar at Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi. His interests and preoccupation range widely but his research focuses on creating physical infrastructures to support a communitarian way of life beyond state and capitalism.

Dr. Shalini Sharma

She is Commonwealth Rutherford Fellow at School of International Development, University of East Anglia, UK and Trustee, Remember Bhopal Trust & Museum. She has earlier taught at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati at the Centre for Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development. She is also, Visiting Fellow at UNESCO C2C For Natural Heritage Management & Training in Asia-Pacific.
